My adjustable knob is damaged. Can any bicycle maker repair my Thorbike?

Thorbike is equiped with this special Easybike Plug & Drive System.  Any bicycle maker can repair the Thorbike for you,or do the aftersale service. The system itself does not need to be programmed by computer. The system has a fixed programm. Is there a problem, just go to the local bicycle maker, to help you out.. Thorbike distributors in each country has stock or just call the headoffice in the Netherlands for the enquired spare part.

Do I need special insurance for myThorBike?

The fact that it is a motorized vehicle/ bicycle (pedelec), according to the law it is not a scooter. It is registrated as a normal bicycle. The maximum speed cannot be higher the25KM/hr, according to the EPAC norm. Insurance is needed for steeling, accidents etc. To be sure, we advise you to check your law in your country about pedelecs..

Where are the Thorbikes build?

ThorBikes are designed, build/ fully assembled in the Netherlands. Made in Holland!

Can I easily assemble a childseat or bag on the carrier of my Thorbike?

All the Thorbike carriers are Childseat prepaired. The carrier is in the middle more narrow, so it gives the space that the childseat needs. Besides the fact that the carrier is prepaired for Bobike or GMG seats, the downtubes are much stronger than a normal carrier to handle the extra weight.  If you are specially interested in a electric bicycle, to drive with a child, we advise to choose for the Mama Comfort, Elektron A7/ Nexus 8 Men/ Lady, Base Retro Men/ Lady or Base Transport Men/ Lady. Those Thorbikes has the extra strong carrier.  If you choose a bicycle without a bag, like the Elektron, every kind of single or double bag fix easily on the carrier.  The most convinient way is to choose a bicycle with a bag, completely aligned for the design of the bicycle..

Where can I test a Thorbike?

Thorbikes can only be tested by official Thorbike dealers. You can find a Thorbike dealer in your area of your country.ThorBike is very busy to expand the dealership in each country. How do I charge my battery?

Each ThorBike has a battery pack, which can be take out easily from the carrier. You can charge the battery with the charger in your home or anywhere where is a plug-socket available. You don't need to put the whole bicycle, close to a plug. Thorbikes are convinient in charging.

How can I keep my Thorbike in a good condition?

A Thorbike do not need more service than a normal bicycle. In case there is something wrong with the Easybike Plug & Drive System, you need to contact any bicycle maker in your area for the aftersale service. He can contact us for assistent.

How can I adjust the speed of the support?

On the left side on the handlebar,you find the diplay with the battery indicator and a knob. During dirving turn the knob from left to the right positon to speed up the support.  Find you on suitable support during driving. Please use the gears of your bicycle, if you need to start up driving  or climbing a hill, to save energy of the battery.
